We operate as a commodities brokerage; providing for our producer’s adequate buyers to carry out viable transactions. Fair-trade for Amanah Global means better prices, decent working conditions, local sustainability, and fair terms of trade for workers and farmers in the developing world. Amanah Global requires from our suppliers to pay their workers sustainable living wages which do not fall below the market price. We are not merely concerned about profitability as a commodities brokerage company, we are firm advocates of the U.N’s Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) which aim to end poverty, reduce inequality and tackle climate change. We are fully aware of “the role of the diverse private sector, ranging from micro-enterprises to cooperatives to multinational businesses” in achieving these goals.
