The Amazon Reforestation Project, Inc. (ARP) is an organization created by Albert George II and the Project’s landowner. ARP will lead by example showing how the leading countries and companies of the world in collaboration with Brazil can work together to make a difference by protecting over 1,000,000 hectares (i.e., the equivalent of over 2.5 million acres housing over 300,000,000 trees) of land in the heart of the Amazon Rainforest. The goal of the Amazon Reforestation Project is to provide the highest quality carbon offsets, project design and management ensuring the needed accountability and transparency in how forestry projects are executed. We will have built in safeguards and we will also utilize technology to ensure each investor will have tangible proof or evidence of investment security in addition to encouraging regular visits to Green Zone Areas. This project will entail 850,000 hectares of existing virgin forest area and 150,000 hectares of reforestation.
