Amber's Army

A family run Children's charity that specialises in providing support, experiences and helping create memories for families who have children with a cancer diagnosis. The charity was created in memory of Jon & Amanda Sheehy's Daughter Amber, who fought a brain tumour for over 3 years. During Amber's last 3 years, they were able to make the unimaginable happen, through experiences, memories for life and creating partnerships with others. The charity was created so that we can provide the same experiences to other families of whom may not be able to create some of these memories and experiences without some support. The charity will fill gaps that they found with other charities along our own journey, with siblings far too often being left out, we focus on the whole family. The charity is non-profit and all funds are raised through donations, fundraising and events across the year. Amber's Army will provide a personalised approach to each and every family, with a support plan created with the whole family in mind, the plan will include external support providers, wishes, other charities involved, experiences desired and above all it will be realistic with all factors considered.
