Amber Valley School is situated on an extensive 45-acre school campus, on the outskirts of Chickmagalur Town(11.39 Lac Population), Karnataka, India. Chickmagalur, a quiet town surrounded by coffee estates, is sandwiched between Bangalore (240 km s) and Mangalore (150 kms), Mysore (180 kms), easily accessible by road. The magnificent bio-diverse Western Ghats forms the backdrop of the School. Amber Valley School is a private residential institution for boys and girls for grades 1 to 12, affiliated to the Council for Indian School Certificate Examination (CICSE), New Delhi, and the Karnataka Pre-University Board. The ICSE affiliation prescribes the academic syllabus for grades 9-12. The curriculum for Grades 1 to 8 follows the Amber Valley designed learner-centric curriculum framework leading to the prescribed ICSE syllabus of Grade 9 and 10. The school offers day scholar schooling for grades 1 to 4. The Curriculum framework for grades 1 to 8 has been designed by a Core Curriculum Group comprising experienced educationists, psychologists, teachers and artists with inputs from international curricula.
