Amchong Tea Estate, located 20 minutes away from the scenic city of Guwahati spans over 1782 acres of pristine land. Amchong is known for some of the finest teas in the region employing over 500 workers. It has a capacity of over 1,000,000 Kilograms annually, and this figure is increasing constantly.
Traditionally Amchong Tea Estate had been manufacturing CTC teas exclusively for over 40 years.
Today, Amchong has established multiple verticals to cater to customers with varied requirements owing to the young and passionate team guided by generations of experience. Some of the many products Amchong now offers are Bulk sales, Private Label, Blended Teas including Natural Ingredients and Flavours and Green Tea blends, as well as our Retail product AM'cha.
Over the years, Amchong has kept up with the improvement in technology and changes in customer demands and tastes, while keeping our core values intact. Our facility has seen overall efficiency and productivity improve. The overall increase in output is a result of increasing factory space and adding new machinery, while simultaneously planting new tea saplings, including special clonal plants.
The estate has immense potential for growth over years to come, in terms of both, the recently introduced verticals as well as introduction of new ones owing to the research regularly conducted by the garden, factory and marketing teams.
