Since the year 1963, the program - previously known as USASIP - has given students at Chalmers University of Technology the valuable experience of an internship in both the United States and Canada. The purpose of the program is to give students genuine work experience within their specific field of education and to create cultural understanding between North America and the Scandinavian countries. The program has proved to be very successful in satisfying both students and hosting companies and it has therefore obtained a good reputation. AB Volvo, Ericsson and AstraZeneca are a few examples of companies that we have collaborated with.
