AMCO Enclosures is an IMS Engineered Products brand located on approximately 290,000 square feet of manufacturing space in Des Plaines, Illinois. Electronic packaging, server rack, network rack and data rack manufacturing are our core competencies. In September 2005, IMS Companies, LLC acquired AMCO Engineering enhancing the sheet metal design and fabrication processes; along with the consolidation of its EXTON division, a custom sheet metal fabricator. With over 70 years of experience, AMCO Enclosures is a recognized leader in the design, manufacture and integration of standard or custom electronic racks and cabinets for all segments of industry. Its initial role in the market place was as a supplier to the US Military for various projects and programs. The attention to detail as a supplier created a standard line of enclosures that still sets the industry standard to this date. Our eight different standard 19″ and 24″ rack frame product lines provide solutions for nearly any enclosure requirement. We can also modify standard rack products (configure to order), or create custom racks to meet your specific requirements.
