AMD Environmental are a collaborative Mechanical and Electrical Design and Build Engineering specialist with a sustainable approach in delivering challenging and bespoke projects across several industries. We specialise in ‘Green’ sustainable technologies delivering energy efficient, low carbon solutions which is further supported by our Energy Lifecycle Modelling expertise. AMD has grown from its succession in delivering projects to extending our full service offering by providing a complete Facilities Management service. This includes providing planned preventative maintenance services to maintain our client’s assets and minimise the risk of assets failing in the event of an emergency. Our distinguished approach is ensuring we are both responsible and ethical by employing the most sustainable approach in delivering projects or maintenance and offering our clients our knowledge and guidance to aid them in achieving the same.
Incorporated in 1971 as Air Movement Design, the business was setup Roy King who was the founder and father of Jon King. In 2011, Jon teamed up with Marcus Sullivan to expand the business, the client portfolio and the overall service offering. Marcus is now joint Managing Director along with Jon King, under 'AMD Environmental,' enabling us to now provide a diverse range of specialist services to all clients. AMD are proud to have retained its core values of hard work and determination as well as a family ethos, something that allowed us to evolve from a bespoke contractor to an established name within the industry celebrating 50 successful years.
AMD has gained an excellent reputation for providing very high standards of workmanship at competitive prices. We pride ourselves of this being a perfect example of our delivery model that we would look to continue and extend to future clients.
