Advanced Materials Design and Processing Group

Welcome to the Advanced Materials Design and Processing Group led by Dr. Saurabh S. Nene at IIT Jodhpur. Our research focuses on Physical and Mechanical Metallurgy, emphasizing structure-property correlations in both conventional and novel metallic alloys. We specialize in alloys for automotive, aerospace, and biomedical applications, as well as high entropy alloys (HEAs) with multifunctional properties. Our work combines modeling and experimentation, utilizing advanced techniques like ECCI and EBSD to explore microstructural evolution and material properties.
