Ameditor was a US-based scientific and medical editing company established in 2011 and closed on July 31, 2015. Company statement: At AmEditor, we strive to help researchers from across the globe to publish their findings in high quality journals, preferably those that are included in the Institute for Scientific Information (ISI) Citation Database. Since the science and medical literature is dominated by the English language, many scientists and physicians from non-English speaking countries find it challenging to disseminate their important findings to an international audience. In recent decades, many of the developed and developing countries in Asia, the Middle East, and Africa have recognized the importance of scientific and medical research and are promoting such endeavors on a globalized scale. As more researchers enter the field, however, the competition to publish becomes more intense and the requirements for review and publication become more restrictive. Ameditor helps authors from non-English speaking countries prepare their manuscripts to meet the current rigors of journal reviewers. By providing clear and concise presentation of an author’s ideas and data, removing any grammatical distractions, future journal reviewers will be able to focus on the scientific merit of the study and appropriateness of its content for their target audience.
