Founded in 1951, AMES is engaged in the manufacturing and sales of sintered metal components. Our headquarters are located in the town of Sant Feliu de Llobregat, near Barcelona, Spain.
The company is financially and technologically independent, with 100% spanish capital. With production centers in Spain, Hungary, USA, and China, we have a worldwide sales and technical support network that serves over 1,000 customers in more than 50 countries.
AMES is one of the world leaders in the manufacturing of powder metal parts. Our main products are:
- Sintered steel metallic components for mechanical use, with complex geometry and high dimensional precision in large series.
- Soft magnetic sintered metallic parts, employed for transiently guiding or amplifying a magnetic field.
- Additive manufacturing metallic parts of extreme geometric complexity and mass, produced using Binder Jetting.
- Self-lubricating sintered bearings: porous metal bearings impregnated with oil that work without need of external lubricant.
- Metallic sintered filters and porous parts, used for microfiltration, aeration, pressure drop, flow control, and other utilities.
- Osteointegrable porous titanium implants used in biomedicine as bone consolidation elements.
