Founded in 1987 as AMFM Incorporated, the company revolutionized the metal hose industry by developing the Braid Band, a product which was not in standard production. This improved the cost and efficiency to prepare metal hose for welding. Operated for many years as a family business, the company enjoyed steady growth and acquired a machine shop in 2012 and Omega One in 2013. OmegaOne is a manufacturer of stainless steel hydraulic fittings and adapters. AMFM and OmegaOne shared product and customer synergies. In 2015, the company merged all aspects of the company under the name OmegaOne, and in 2022, OmegaOne was acquired by Stainless Hose Fittings. The company manufactures stainless steel fittings for tubing, pipe, and hose and Braid Bands for fabrication of industrial metal hose.
