AMG Detection is a pre-seizure detection company whose focus is on developing a wearable device to alert epileptic individuals, as well as emergency contacts and/or services, of a forthcoming episode 10-45 minutes prior to allow time for appropriate precautions to take place, such as utilizing emergency medication to prevent the seizure from occurring. The device is based on a novel biomarker sensor and will be integrated with other vital sign and motion sensors to predict seizure type and monitor for unsafe conditions for prevention of death and other major/minor injuries that result from unknown episodes.
