Amitofo Care Centre

Amitofo Care Centre (aka Amitofo Care Center International, USA) is an international not-for-profit institution that alleviate poverty in some of the poorest nations. It stretches beyond boundaries by directly touching people's lives, and raises, educates and builds orphanage centres throughout Africa. Within the compound at each orphanage centre there are dormitories for orphans and vulnerable children including children with HIV, primary school, kindergarten, library, activity centre, medical centre, vocational training centre, prayer hall, administrative offices and volunteer quarters. Over the past 14 years of international relief and caring programs rolled out at different regions of Africa saving lives, benefiting thousands of children and adults alike; Amitofo Care Centre in Mozambique and Madagascar are now under construction. Currently, Amitofo Care Centre supports circa 12,000 vulnerable and orphaned children, including children with HIV, in Lesotho, Malawi, Namibia and Swaziland.
