Amitra Capital Limited

Amitra Capital is a portfolio group company that specialises in the management of illiquid European real estate investments on behalf of a major Canadian pension fund investor. Since it was founded in 2019, Amitra Capital has focused on the management of portfolios of complex non-performing loans (NPLs) and currently manages five NPL portfolios in Spain and Portugal with more than €5.5bn of unpaid principal and 20,000 borrower groups. With it's head office in London, Amitra Capital's team of c.18 employees and five board members, three of whom are independent, operate across Europe and are active in the market to acquire additional portfolios in new geographies, with a focus on Greece, UK and Ireland in addition to Iberian opportunities.
