AMNA - آمِنة

AMNA is a youth led NGO in Sudan that advocates against Violence against women (VAW) and Gender Based Violence (GBV). We do this through two approaches: enriching online content on VAW, and working to mobilize youth, diverse communities and agencies to create safer environments for women in Sudan. As it stands in Sudan, there’s a huge issue of lack of quantitative and qualitative data and content regarding VAW in Sudan. AMNA tries to bridge the gap between the content existing and the reality of the magnitude of the problem by creating content, conducting surveys and lobbying data. They also train youth on data collection, data analysis and content creation.
