AMO was founded in 1989 by the late Peter Hudson to manufacture and supply Roller Shutters, Steel Doors, Security Grilles, Shop & Garden Awnings as well as Garage Doors to commercial, industrial and domestic clients nationwide.
The business remains in the family to this day, under the management of Rachael Hudson (Peter’s daughter) and prides itself on remaining a family led business and providing a quality service for its customers from its Yorkshire head office.
AMO is the parent company for the home improvement brand, Lakeland Home Innovations.
AMO acquired Lakeland Awnings in 2014 to establish its Lakeland brand, a range of contemporary solutions which now includes glass houses, patio roofs, retractable awnings, pergolas and Verandas.
