On 26th April 2017, Amplus Sp. Z o.o. a European major food processing and distribution company & DMD AGRO FOODS Private Limited, an Indian FNV processing and export company, got into a merger and created the first INDIAN POLISH JOINT VENTURE COMPANY in Food & Beverage sector.
AMPLUS DMD EUROPE CONGLOMERATE Sp. Z O.O.", would be the first pioneer joint venture company between an Indian company and Polish Company.
This joint venture will focus on trade of fresh fruits and vegetables and processed food. This joint venture will organize promotion campaign and set up distribution channels in entire Europe of Indian fruits and vegetables and Indian made processed food and juices. The Joint venture will open food processing units in India, producing Preservative free JUICES, JAMS, BEER, INDIAN WINE, FROZEN FISH, FROZEN MEAT and etc., thus fulfilling the vision of MAKE IN INDIA, also we will open distribution channels in Entire Europe, UAE & USA, and also processing centres in Poland.
This joint venture will take advanced EUROPEAN technology to India, and develop storages for onions, vegetables and other food products, advanced food processing units, well monitored supply chain networks and also create optimally organized producer groups with advanced technology, safer pesticides. We will also finance the farmers and producers, work on minimum wastage and most importantly set up an energy generation industry from agricultural waste.
The total initial investment of this joint venture would be 28 million Euros and which would increase up to 88 million Euro in the first financial year.
The joint venture aims to form research and development centres in Poland along with AGH, and also in India.
The company is already acting like an umbrella organization, under which 4 companies are setting food processing unit, with advanced European & Japanese technology in India.
