AmpteX is an early stage student-led social enterprise founded in 2024. Based at The University of Sydney, we are dedicated to tackling waste in Australia.
Our flagship product is a sustainable composite material made completely out of textile, plastic, and wood waste. This lightweight, durable and customizable panel can be used to manufacture other products- from furniture, homeware, tiles, and more.
Our product aims to embody a circular economy model, providing a long-term solution that effectively diverts waste from landfills. At AmpteX, we're committed to contributing to researching and developing more sustainable uses of waste materials.
