African Mining Solutions Group

African Mining Solutions is a holding company headquartered in Mauritius that oversees three prosperous African enterprises. One of these is Katanga Contracting Services SA (KCS) (49% Holding), a diverse company specializing in contract mining, contract crushing and screening, contract blasting and drilling, bulk earthworks, road construction, and the development of Tailings Storage Facilities (TSF). KCS is a leader in mine planning and has completed the largest number of major TSF projects of any contractor in the Democratic Republic of Congo (DRC). Another enterprise under African Mining Solutions' oversight is Terramec Sarl (50% Holding), an equipment dealer that focuses on working at height solutions and is the exclusive dealer of Magni Telehandlers in both DRC and Zambia. With on-site workshops at most major mines, Terramec provides exceptional support for equipment in the field, boasting superior quality equipment and unparalleled support. Finally, African Mining Solutions also holds a 47.5% stake in the Tompwe Tin Project, an exploration project for tin, tantalum, and lithium situated 480 kilometers north of Lubumabshi in the Haute Katanga Province of the Democratic Republic of Congo. Since 2017, AMS Group has been conducting exploration activities over the 88-square-kilometer concession, with a primary focus on tin exploration (TN). The group has invested $5.5 million of its own resources in roads, bridge construction, and exploration to support the project.
