Amylon Therapeutics is a biotechnology company dedicated to developing therapies for rare genetic disorders of the central nervous system. Our drug development platform is based on innovative RNA Modulation Technology. RNA Modulation Technology uses antisense oligonucleotides (ASOs) to alter the splicing of pre-mRNA to counteract the effects of disease-causing mutations. Amylon has several therapeutic programs in its pipeline. Our lead research program targets the disorder Hereditary Cerebral Hemorrhage with Amyloidosis Dutch Type (HCHWA-D), also referred to as Katwijk’s disease, the most common form of hereditary cerebral amyloid angiopathy (CAA). Amylon is led by a strong management team of entrepreneurs and industry veterans, complemented by a world-class supervisory- and scientific advisory board.
