Our mission is that a chronic infection, such as HIV, should be treated according to our own individual reservoir of infected cells. When foreign DNA enters your cells, it can integrate in your genome.
We have developed a method to detect foreign DNA. This enables detection of, for example, the reservoir of cells infected by HIV. Though our methodology we hope to pave the way for improvements of HIV treatment, and eventually an HIV cure.
