ANALEMA DESIGN STUDIO was the result of the dreams, motivations and objectives of Diego Garcia Pando, Industrial Engineer and Maker and Product Designer. Here are some reason why: What would life be like without dreams? …we wouldn’t be able to practice enduro mountaibiking (the dirtier you get the more fun you have); or take the longer route to work to see the sea; settle for anything less than to seek perfection for every moment, for each detail; things of beauty that make your hair stand on end; cycle tourism, reading, graphic novels, live music, taking it easy from time to time, chat with friends over a beer or two in the sun, get angry, fix the world, chocolate, travel…. …and without motivation? …at ANALEMA we attempt to dialogue with the object, approaching it from different perspectives, analysing the concept that leads us to it. And our manufacturing process involves working with our hands until the project is finished; the feel of the surfaces, their textures; using noble materials, respecting nature; re-using objects discarded by others, transforming them to give them a new aesthetic balance and a new life… and without objectives? All our dreams and motivations come together in our work, creating unique, inspired pieces, that avoid indifference. It is thus that we try to achieve in each of our works the expression of a harmonic concept that evokes feelings as well as giving an instinctive functionality. That’s why our products, through their aesthetic balance, are artistic and achieve the beauty and elegance that reflect perfection in each small and not so small detail.
