ANATABDER (Anatolian Medicinal and Aromatic Plants Association)

Hail to those who are flowers and see like flowers, As a group of 'plant lovers', we thought that we should have a roof and bring together the people of the world who are trying to understand plants through their eyes under this roof. First of all, let's start with those who have completed the Medicinal and Aromatic Plants course at BAÇEM; then we wanted everyone who tries to understand plants to find a space for themselves under this roof. We held meetings for about a year and worked on our goals, scope and bylaws. Finally, at the end of 2023, the time came, dreams and intentions turned into actions. Our association was founded as Anatolian Medicinal and Aromatic Plants Association under a unifying and full pre-title like ANATOLIA. We set out under the shadow of the healing Kaz Mountains with the motto 'Our Home is Anatolia, Our Guide is Plants'. As ANATABDER, we will form working groups under different headings in the coming period. We invite you to take an active role in these studies and to be the voice of plants in our advocacy activities that we will initiate on plant rights. We are those who try to look at living things without separating them as 'the other', to look at things as they are, and to see them pleasantly. The words of Henry D. Thoreau, who said, 'Act as if the smell of your actions will increase the general sweetness of the atmosphere,' will keep ringing in our ears. There is no separate place called nature, nor do we look at it from a place that separates the animate from the inanimate. Everything is in motion. In short, let us leave love, compassion and care so that a pleasant aftermath can remain after us. We would like to extend our heartfelt thanks to all our companions who did not leave us alone, who put effort into the establishment process of the association, who gave hope with a sweet smile and kept our motivation alive.
