Anatomi Metrix is a start-up company focused on improving the speed and accuracy of anatomical measurements of the upper extremities, especially the hands.
Our first prototype hand scanner, the Manu3 Hand Measuring System (www.manu3lab.com), was introduced in Germany in May 2016, and sold across Europe and North America in the following year.
To answer the evolving requirements of our customers, we started the development of a tablet app for the hand therapy and compression garment markets. It assists hand therapists with data acquisition and documentation tasks associated with the entire patient-visit process, from welcoming new patients to the clinic to producing insurance claim reports. The app also completes order forms for compression garments, splints and other treatment devices. It runs on iOS and Android tablets.
The app is sold with our second-generation scanning device that very rapidly and precisely measures the affected hand, a time-consuming and tedious task for hand therapists. It also integrates a wide range of third party measuring tools that are already used by hand therapists for assessment purposes, such as wireless dynamometers and color probes.
