Anchored for Good | Standing in the Gap for Naval Aviation Families Facing Cancer Anchored for Good is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit dedicated to supporting active duty naval aviation families navigating a cancer diagnosis. Whether it’s the service member, a spouse, or a child—cancer affects the whole family. We step in with practical, personal, and immediate support tailored to each family’s unique needs. That might include childcare, emergency travel, second opinion costs, meals, mental health services, or household help. Founded by a naval aviator’s wife after her husband’s Stage 4 colon cancer diagnosis at age 36, our mission is rooted in lived experience. We know how hard it is to manage treatment and family life, especially when stationed far from extended support. We are 100% volunteer-run, so every dollar donated goes directly to helping families when they need it most. Naval aviation families are strong—but they shouldn’t have to be strong alone.
