My name is Michael Aagaard Andersen. I am an Asia based, global executive, advisor and board member with a high-performance track record from creating, transforming and growing premium retail and consumer lifestyle brands worldwide.
I am highly skilled in global brand building having done business in +40 countries and from providing full P&L leadership to international companies with up to 26,000 FTEs and revenues of USD +1 billion in APAC, EMEA and NA.

This I do as a senior advisor to owner-led consumer and retail brands, design-driven startups, as well as to private equity and venture capital firms targeting the luxury and consumer lifestyle sector.
On a case-by-case basis, I offer select clients the following services as a Senior Advisor:
1. BUSINESS BUYOUT:
Provide my operating and leadership experience to private equity or venture capital owned luxury and lifestyle brands – both in the pre- and post investment phase.
2. BUSINESS FORMATION:
Provide my operating and leadership experience to early-stage, seed or series-A funded consumer companies in order to help founder(s) accelerate its development to the next stage.
3. BUSINESS GROWTH OR TRANSFORMATION:
Provide my regional operating experience to consumer-facing SMEs expanding to APAC for the first time, or to APAC based SMEs in need of a turnaround of their operation.
My business model is simple: Basic monthly retainer couple with a performance based success fee.
