anDREa is an organization that originates from within the research community. Conceived and developed by three university medical hospitals (Radboud UMC Nijmegen, Erasmus MC Rotterdam and UMC Utrecht) we are committed to offering a solution that empowers organizations to deploy trusted workspaces for storing and processing data, while using an institutions' own tools and resources and enabling collaboration with others as needed, including external partners.
Our mission is to create a digital research environment (DRE) also known as a TRE or TPE (trusted research/processing environment) for every researcher.
We firmly believe that a solution must meet the needs of the organization, data issuers, and researchers. As a key player in the research ecosystem, we value the principles of Trust, Unburden and Empowerment, which we strive to incorporate into everything we do and offer.
