Drama Development S.A., with regard to the Communal Initiative LEADER II, and involving to an innovative, pioneering, reliable approach mechanism of the local development with a wider range of activities. Drama Development S.A. was consisted of Local Government bodies of the 1st and 2nd Grade (all the Municipalities of the Prefecture participate), rural collective bodies, labor and professional organizations, several associations etc, and aims to expand soon this wide partnership to other public interest bodies, networked enterprises and private natural or legal entities. Apart however from its expanded basis, the administration and the work of its executive force, it is characterized by the ability to analyze problems but also the capabilities of the Prefecture and its synthetic proposals in setting a specific development strategy, within the framework of course of the programs that supports or implements and the level of the budget that administers. The adverse characteristics of the Prefecture have to be taken into account in the project estimation of Drama Development and especially the implementation areas of its responsibility programs. Drama Development does not doubt that its project is not successful. It has also estimated the tourism carrying capacity of the region and has an informed view for the sustainability of its valuable natural resource.
