A New Vision

A New Vision Limited is a not-for-profit organization incorporated in Singapore focusing on eradicating blindness from cataract through sight restoration surgeries. To date, we have screened more than 57,000 patients from the low-income families for eye diseases, operated on more than 21,000 eyes, and trained more than 9,000 community representatives on basic eye health education. A New Vision has also collaborated with educational institutions and other healthcare providers to constantly upgrade the skills of our partner surgeons and medical personnel. We have procured more then US$ 150,000 worth of ophthalmic equipment to support our surgical outreach in the Asian countries that we focus on. Indonesia, Cambodia, and Nepal have been the few key locations that we have conducted our outreach. More information on how the funds raised have been allocated can be viewed at our website.
