ANGKATAN KOPERASI KEBANGSAAN MALAYSIA BERHAD

ANGKASA is the apex body of the Malaysian Cooperative Movement, recognized by the Government to unite and represent cooperatives at the national and international levels. ANGKASA provides core services such as payroll deduction services for government employees, statutory bodies, clubs, cooperatives, and unions. ANGKASA implements business and entrepreneurship transformation programs for cooperatives in high-impact business sectors such as Finance, Agriculture and Agro-based Industries, Wholesale and Retail, Tourism, Personal Care and Health, Plantation, Real Estate and Construction, Innovation and Technology, and Community Development. As of December 31, 2023, there are 15,809 cooperatives with a membership of 7.02 million individuals, share/capital amounting to RM17.48 billion, assets totaling RM165.8 billion, and revenue amounting to RM64.5 billion. In line with its 53 years of establishment, ANGKASA will continue to advocate for the rights and interests of the cooperative movement and is committed to leading and implementing the 2030 Sustainable Development Goals (SDG) initiatives to ensure that this institution remains resilient in facing future challenges and continues to serve as an instrument for fair and equitable economic distribution for the well-being of all.
