Anicca is a mental health company harnessing breathing as an analysis and support tool for emotional well being. Anicca developed a respiration sensor and intervention device which detects the user’s breathing, analyses it, and creates a soothing tactile stimulation in response to their breathing patterns. This helps people who suffer from over-stress on a daily basis practice and apply stress regulation in daily life without stopping what they’re doing. Therapists can use Anicca to teach clients emotion regulation, and use as a tool to assist MBCT, DBT, ACT and relaxation. Our user studies show that Anicca helps with enhancing focus, bettering sleep, and lowering anxiety and stress levels. Anicca Wellness is supported by the Israeli Innovation authority. The device is patent pending.
