Set against the backdrop of the beautiful Dingle Town, Animation Dingle is a 2-day Festival taking place annually each March.
Now in its 11th year, Animation Dingle has grown in content and stature so that it is now one of the top Animation events in Europe.
Top industry guests will be joining us from Apple, Spin Master Entertainment, Lego Entertainment, Paramount, Nickelodeon, Disney, Locksmith Animation, BCC, WDR, RTÉjr Toonboom, Aardman Animations, Unreal Engine, Epic Games and also many Irish studios including; Boulder Media, Brown Bag Films, 9 Story Group, Jam Media, Triggerfish, Kavaleer, Avalon Films, Cartoon Saloon Piranha Bar, Algorithm, Story Toys, Monster Entertainment and many more will be making their way to our Dingle shores.
With it’s Industry Partner Fís Éireann/Screen Ireland and presented with Jam Media, Animation Dingle 2023, has some amazing offerings this year. Now a qualifying Academy Awards® festival, and Student Academy Awards® festival, Animation Dingle celebrates its 11th Festival. Over 120 films are being screened, representing 26 countries, all in with a shot at winning awards.
Animation Dingle is based on the western most point of Ireland on the Wild Atlantic Way and in one of the most scenic small towns in Ireland, DINGLE! Unlike other festivals which sprawl across large cityscapes, Animation Dingle inhabits this small town, which lends itself to the Festival to allow guests to mix and mingle with ease.
Animation Dingle is a vibrant melting pot of ideas and exchange; it is a Festival where professionals and industry experts make time for the new, upcoming young people in the field, where networking is high on the agenda and galvanized events which promote all of this. For young people, opportunities abound; for those working in the industry, the same applies.
