Featuring forums and over 400 of the best recently released, historical and retrospective animation from around the world. Held annually in the middle of the year. MIAF showcase a comprehensive line-up from award winners, outstanding industry veterans, inspiring independents, stupendous studios and those wonderful newcomers exploring their talent on screen for the very first time. Without a doubt, MIAF is the premier animation festival of Australia. And, one of the largest festivals in the world dedicated to auteur animation. The entry deadline is usually January/February, and entry is FREE.
