Animotion-Academy

This is an online school providing lessons on creature animation to professional animators of different levels. 15 weeks of first class training with two video sessions per week, each session will be recorded. Each student will receive adequate feedbacks and videos during the progress of their task. Each student will be assigned two shots and immersed in production type schedules. All materials and assets will be provided by the #AnimotionAcademy. We will cover the entire process from concept and blocking to final delivery. Each level will be explained with graphics, videos from theories to practice. I will be your mentor during your learning journey. My methods are easy to understand and clear. You will not see complicated formulae and confusing methods presented by various animation mentors that I saw online. You will use mostly native tools from Maya. My program includes the following: tools, methods and rigs explanation, introduction to the anatomy, explanation of blocking shots, narrative study and cameras, editing video ref for your shots, composition, posing, graph editor methodology and practices, overlaps and mass gravity, weight shifts, negative space, rhythms and musicality, motion textured effects, impact, pose, arabesque and arc motion, understanding of 3d space and body motion, comparison between animation and other major arts, sculpture and painting and many many more on the way.
