ANKARA is an indie rock/shoegaze/post-emo revival influenced unit hailing from Jakarta which formed in early 2013 by Evant Miraz (Vocal/Guitar). Subsequently, some fellow joined the band such as Wikan Setiaji (Guitar/Vocal), Elvin Sasa (Guitar), Farhan Gunawan (Bass). ANKARA dissolve indie rock/post-rock/shoegaze muscular sound with catchy chorus notation that verbalize the human senses including denial, bliss, butterflies in the stomach and everything in between. ANKARA's debut EP "Bipolar Mind" was released in 2016 with notable single called 'Sunshine'.
