AnkleWise

We are a multinational, multidisciplinary team of university students participating in a startup accelerator program at the European Innovation Academy in Porto, Portugal. The team is developing AnkleWise, a wearable technology designed to track the usage, stress, and angle of inclination of ankle muscles and ligaments in athletes. Our goal is to identify activities or training areas that put athletes at risk of ankle injuries. The device not only detects these risks but also administers a very small electrical impulse to the muscles at high speed to correct their position, aiming to eliminate ankle sprains altogether.
