Ankoon Academy is a non-profit football (soccer) academy with organizations based in both Omaha, Nebraska and Monrovia, Liberia, Africa. The organization in Omaha, NE has been established to procure funds through donations from both individuals and companies, while the academy itself operates in communities in and around Liberia. Our organization aims to improve the local communities by giving kids a safe place to study and practice the sport of football. Ankoon Academy sponsors its own team and hosts a league that includes other local football clubs. We view education as a necessity to athletic success and encourage participation in volunteer-related activities to further help the communities in which we are located. The academy serves families with children ranging from seven to thirteen years old and provides all services and products for free.
