ANL Foundation

ANL Foundation is an NGO based in Wakiso, Uganda. The foundation aims at; a) Providing employment support and opportunities to youth through capacity building, training and mentorship; b) Enhancing youth livelihood through developing business skills, providing vocational training and supporting small businesses; c) Advocating for policies that promote youth economic growth and job creation; d) Supporting employment of people living with disabilities while focusing on inclusion, equality and empowerment; e) Improving living standards of communities through focusing on health, water, education and sustainable agriculture. f) Providing emergency response through relief support to people in areas of crises. The Foundation started in June, 2019 as a single whatsapp group of 250 members managed by Abdul Noor Luttamaguzi, where he shared job adverts, provided training on cvs, application/ cover letters, aptitudes tests and job interviews. Due to his free service, members were encouraged to give back to the community after getting jobs through his guidance. Todate, 20,000 members across Uganda are organized in 18 whatsapp groups, where resource mobilization for the charity work is done. The foundation goes by the name ANL standing for Abdul Noor Luttamaguzi and it continues to empower communities across Uganda. Notably, over 1,800 members have gotten jobs from both private and public sector, 2 hospitals supported, 2 child home or orphanages supported, 2 schools supported and numerous trainings conducted in secondary schools and rotary and rotaract clubs.
