About Anna's Pals

Anna’s Pals is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization dedicated to supporting immunocompromised children and their families through meaningful, compassionate, and medically conscious programs. Founded in memory of Anna Jerome, a vibrant young girl treated for cancer at Boston Children’s Hospital, our mission is to bring comfort, connection, and joy to children facing extended hospital stays due to blood disorders, cancer, and autoimmune diseases. These children are often isolated from the outside world due to their fragile immune systems—we exist to remind them they are not alone. We currently provide: Meals for pediatric patients at Boston Children's Hospital Distraction kits and emotional relief for families experiencing long-term hospitalization at Boston Children’s Hospital, Baystate Medical Center, and Franciscan Children’s Community outreach and advocacy for pediatric patients navigating life in medical isolation Our next chapter is the Anna’s Pals Beach House for Immunocompromised Children—a future medically safe, code-compliant retreat space in Sagamore Beach, MA, where immunocompromised children and their families can rest and reconnect in a clean, non-clinical setting. We believe in care that goes beyond medicine—and that childhood should still include joy. 📍 Based in Massachusetts | 🌊 Serving families across the state
