Annaaj is an agri-tech D2C platform for the 500 million new internet users residing in tier 2-4 cities. Annaaj primarily focuses on Fresh produce, food grains, dairy & spices. The traditional online groceries players like big-basket have very low penetration in smaller towns. The platforms face a lack of trust, a lack of familiarity to purchase online, low order value which makes it economically challenging for the platforms, etc. Annaaj connects food producers directly to its partner Annaaj leaders. These annaaj leaders are small entrepreneurs who acquire customers from their own network and facilitate the last-mile deliveries to end consumers as well. The model is perfect for tier 2-4 geographies, as it not only solves for trust deficit, and technology adoption but also makes it's economical superior to existing grocery marketplaces.
Founded by the Ex-Head of Growth @Amberstudent & ex-Tech lead @Thunderpod(YC W20) with almost 5 years of entrepreneurial experience of building products from zero to one. Annaaj aims to create an army of micro-entrepreneurs and create better income opportunities for all the stakeholders involved in the entire supply chain.
