Founded in January, 2016, Annadhan is a self run, voluntary organization that focuses on the principle of What's Left Is Not Over. The organization was registered as a section 8 company in the name of Annadhan Welfare Foundation in August 2018.
The essence of this simple objective: What's Left Is Not Over is to create awareness about the fact that there may be leftover, untouched food and edible items that may not be in use to you but at Annadhan, it’s used for a lot of other people who can benefit from it. Even one meal comprising one roti, dal and subji, makes a difference.
Food wastage is rampant across India and thousands lose their life to hunger every year. As an organisation, we try to solve 2 problems with one solution. We look to salvage excess food which would otherwise be thrown away and make sure it reaches someone in dire need of it.
