In 2018, we met as friends who share same ideas. While Devara was thinking about Corporate Social Responsibility, we started to notice something curious: several companies are meeting challenges in understanding the wants and needs of the citizens around them, thus hindering their work project’s process. The tactics of old such as promises of building a school, holding a forum discussion, and so on simply weren’t effective anymore. Meanwhile, a lot of companies have conducted CSR with little funding, yet leaving a big impact in people’s hearts and resulted in their projects resuming smoothly. We’ll admit, we were surprised. How had this company with no budget generated more efficient strategy than companies with professional CSR teams and way bigger budgets? So after many meetings and occasional coffee, we came to the simple observation: People don’t want to be interrupted by managing projects which would interfere with their routines and only be compensated with money. They want to be helped. It was time to make the CSR which prioritizes the needs of the community. Time to treat citizens the way they deserve to be treated and not just as people who can be pushed around to make way for companies’ projects. It is time to build an inbound community and help people achieve their business goals in a more personable, empathetic way. We called it, ANOVA. PT. CORPORATE SOCIAL RESPONSIBILITY To become the consultant as well as to serve as an agency for companies in managing and actualizing companies’ CSR with accuracy and in accordance with community’s needs. We gather data, conduct studies, foster communication with community and businesses, process data, expand the concept, actualize programs or products needed by the community and companies, as well as providing control and supervision. OBJECTIVES • To be a partner in addition to serving as a skillful intermediary between companies and community. • To increase the value and integrity of consumers, employees, stakeholders, and the community. • To increase the quality and quantity of labor. • To instill a role of importance for companies in raising a healthy community and auspicious society. • To build community’s trust towards businesses and companies, therefore alleviating skepticism and distance between community and companies. • To have CSR/ TJSP serving as a platform for companies, communities, environments, and the nation to progress forward. • To serve as a platform for communication and resolution between companies, community, and the nation.
