Anselmo Reyes KK is a dispute resolution firm and research institute headquartered in Kyoto. Founded by Professor Anselmo Reyes SC, Adrian Mak, and Dr. Kazuaki Nishioka, our mission is to advance the practice and understanding of international dispute resolution and private international law, in Asia and beyond, through a blend of professional services and rigorous research.
We achieve our mission through three core pillars:
1. Arbitration, Mediation, and Expert Services: Serving as arbitrators, mediators, experts, and tribunal secretaries in complex cross-border disputes, while providing authoritative legal opinions on intricate issues.
2. Capacity-Building: Delivering seminars, workshops, and conferences aimed at judges, academics, practitioners, and students to enhance skills in cross-border dispute resolution and foster dialogue and knowledge sharing.
3. Legal Research: Engaging in extensive legal research across various domains, with a particular focus on private international law. Our members serve as editors of Hart Publishing's "Studies in Private International Law - Asia."
