The name of the Association, which is a non-political and non-religious establishment, is the “Association of Nigerian Scholarship Students in Russia” (hereinafter referred to as “ANSSIR” or the Association) and abbreviated as ANSSIR. ANSSIR is established to unite Nigerian scholarship students studying under the Bilateral Educational Agreement resident in Russia, to defend their common and individual interests, and promote scholarship and excellence through the realization of the aims and objectives outlined in the constitution.
