Antec started in 1984 as a spin-off from Pyros Dutch Electronics. The new company focused on research and development of electric driving systems for e-bikes. In 1992 Antec produced the first electric bicycles in Europe. The increasing demand for clean vehicles was the motivation for Antec to continue with its investments. As a result, Antec enjoys nowadays a considerable technical lead in the area of driving systems. A strong basis for a good market position with quality products, such as the new EASYS electric driving system.
