RACE PROVEN, PEOPLE DRIVEN. Anthem Sports Tours was founded in 2015 by Anthem Sports President Dieter Drake. Founders of one of North America’s most iconic road cycling events, the Tour of the Battenkill, Anthem Sports has promoted both competitive and non-competitive events across the USA for the past 18 years. Epic climbs, dirt roads, amazing rural landscapes, and exciting finishes in supportive and enthusiastic small towns across America are the critical components that Anthem Sports strives to promote in an effort to increase tourism and commerce through great cycling events. Serving over 30,000 cyclists at their events since 2004, customer service and attention to detail are the key elements of Anthem Sports’ success. A former elite level cyclist, Dieter raced at the Category 2 level and finished 2004 ranked #1 in the USA for the time trial, age 30-34. Drake was the Director of RAGBRAI - the world's largest week-long bicycle ride - from 2020-2022. With a focus on non-competitive events in recent years, Anthem Sports has identified untapped, yet rapidly growing & tourism-friendly regions with the scenery and infrastructure that would be attractive for cycling tours and adventure travelers worldwide. First embarking on their inaugural year of week-long tours in 2016, Anthem Sports brings race-proven expertise and enthusiasm as they share their love for great landscapes and cultures around the globe.
