About Anti-Doping Research

Anti-Doping Research, Inc. is one of the leading performance-enhancing drug research organizations in the world. Its mission is to help rid sport of performance-enhancing drugs by creating novel and lasting solutions to modern-day doping issues. An ISO 17025-accredited nonprofit organization based in Los Angeles, ADR focuses on research, specialized analysis, education, program development, and collaboration. ADR was founded by longtime anti-doping pioneer Don Catlin, M.D., his son Oliver Catlin and colleagues to uncover new drugs being used illegally and develop the tests to detect them. In Nov. 2009, ADR developed a new equine test for the powerful blood-boosting drug CERA, and has recently reported progress toward developing a long sought-after urine test for human growth hormone.
