We are a laboratory of ethnopharmacology, based at the Faculty of Pharmacy, University of Montpellier. In our work, we study the interaction between medicinal plants, traditional knowledge and human health and its role in the contemporary global context. Our mission is to integrate insights from diverse cultural practices in medicinal plant use with advanced scientific methodologies, fostering a network of knowledge that deepens our understanding of the connections between biodiversity, human health, and traditional medicine. By doing so, we aim to situate these practices within a broader, interconnected global framework, challenging boundaries and encouraging a more integrative approach to plant-based medicine in our contemporary world.
