Antipodean Coffee is a Kiwi owned and operated Cafe chain operating in the ASEAN region. Antipodean is also reknown as a Coffee Roasting company.
The cafe business under the “Antipodean” name began in 2009 (Jakarta, Indonesia), the roasting business earlier in 2003 (Jakarta, Indonesia). We now have cafes in Kuala Lumpur, Penang, Johor Bahru, Jakarta and Manila.
The cafe is based on the NZ cafe maxim of great food, great coffee and a genuine, well organised, service experience in well run cafes. We source and roast all our own coffee- currently roasting is in Cianjur, Jakarta and Bangsar, Kuala Lumpur and Malaysia. We source coffee from all over the Indonesian archipelago and were pioneers in the Indonesian Specialty cafe movement.
We are looking at expanding in further Asia over the next 2 years
